Makeup Look: Graduation

Last March, a major chapter of my life had come to an end. Four years have gone by very quickly yet it left me with wonderful memories which I will cherish for the rest of my life. Graduation day comes as a celebration of these experiences, as well as the triumphs that came along with it. It's a very special day which requires a very special makeup look! (Because this is a beauty blog after all~)

Unedited! Makeup by me. Hair by a local hairdresser.
(Face: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, Revlon Colorstay for Oily/ Combination Skin in Buff + Essence Stay Matte Foundation in Honey Beige, IN2IT Oil Free 2-Way Foundation in Soft Beige; Brows: Etude House Easy Brow Pencil No. 1; Eyes: Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer, ELF Little Black Beauty Book: Glam Holiday; Cheeks: Careline Oil Control Blush-on in Peach Glow; Lips: Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Siennas)
Since the graduation ceremony would take place at around late afternoon until evening, I took it as an opportunity to go for a soft smokey eye look using golds and dark browns. I paired it with a MLBB shade of lipstick and peach-colored blush all over the cheeks to complete the whole look. I wanted to keep everything as natural as possible: that I-don't-want-to-look-like-I-have-too-much-makeup-on-but-I-actually-made-an-effort-to-look-good-today kind of makeup.

Mind you, this is my first time to put a full-face makeup on myself for a major major event. (Parties don't really count.) Overall, I'm really satisfied with the look I've created and it saved me a lot of money and time from going to a salon that overcharge for their makeup services. I even got compliments for it~

Feel free to share how you prepared for your graduation day~ and congratulations to all graduates!
